Trisha’s first of its kind bilingual horror comedy Nayaki’s simultaneous release is postponed for another week to July 15, few media reports suggest.
Nayaki will also be Trisha’s first lady-oriented film in Tamil and Telugu, say movie sources. Directer Govi has termed her the real hero of the film besides lauding her efforts to play the role.Trisha reportedly portrays two roles in the film, seen mostly in a 1980s look wearing a traditional saree.
One of her characters will be a teenage girl as well, while the screenplay moves back and forth in time. The director also says that the movie is 98% comedy and only 2% horror. The movie also has song sung by Trisha for the first time, following the trend that’s going on. Kunche Raghu has composed the tunes.
Ganesh Venkat Raman, who paired with her in Akashamantha once again takes the same role in the movie. Jayaprakash, Satyam Rajesh, Brahmanandam and Sentrayan are some of the other cast in the movie.
