Two kinds of chillies have been used in this recipe. For extra added flavour ginger and garlic has been used. This sauce can be made without garlic as well. Vinegar is used for preservation of the sauce for a long time. Cornflour gives the sauce a smooth and creamy texture. This sauce can be stored in an air tight glass container for 4-5 months in refrigerator. Green chilly sauce is used in many Chinese recipes as well as Indian ones.
